HELLOOOO :D

Hello all!!! I have not made a post in a while lol- but i come with much fun personal updates! I will go through the whole timeline whahaha

First, I finished my second semester at my transfer college! I got mostly A's for my classes and did get all A's on my finals! i had so much fun that past semester and i loved all the classes i got to take :) i will miss some of my teachers dearly hahah

Second-- and the main reason i am making this post-- i got to go to Birmingham, AL comic con (LONG drive whahha) with a few friends and my mom :) it was so much fun and i got to buy some stuff from some artists! I got a Wyll Ravenguard!BG3 sticker and a freebie sticker from one of my friends of Hawkeye!Marvel hehe. my biggest flex though is getting to meet some actors from Red Dead Redemption 2 :D it's my favorite game right now and i have been fixated on it for the past.... what? two years?? whwhahaha but yeah! Rob Weithoff (John Marston), Alex McKenna (Sadie Adler), and Benjamin Byron-Davis (Dutch van der Linde) were all there and i got to say hi to all of them! ahh! i was able to get an autograph from Rob which i was super excited about! i must have been a little starstruck cause i kind of fumbled through my conversation with him and i feel a little embarrassed about it now, but i'm sure he will not remember me. he had to talk to sooo many people the day i went ah! i wanted to ask if he would doodle an opossum for me-- cause i love them-- but i stuttered after i misheard him asking what quote or whatever i wanted him to write and he recommended the "YOU EAT BABIES." line and i felt bad saying no whahahah. i also made the cast members who were there all these little rosettes of their characters! (i never got a picture of the finished dutch one, sorry!):



wahhhhh! i didn't get their autographs, but Ben and Alex were both very nice as well! i was admittedly a little worried that Ben Davis wouldn't like- understand my gift but i think he really liked it! (even if it did fall apart a little in travel shrug) Alex in particular was so cool to talk to! guys if the fact that she plays one of the coolest women in gaming doesn't convince you of her badassedery let me tell you she is just as cool in a different way irl. the people in front of us ended up in a long conversation with her that we were also a part of by proximity and she talked about how she adopted a rescued snake from a con and the story about how she got it and how they're like besties now. at her booth, she was selling merchandise like stickers and t-shirts of sadie art that featured her pets that she commissioned a friend to draw and a certain percentage of the revenue from that would go to animal rescue efforts (cool as FUCK obvi i got one >:D) she also talked about how the outfit she was wearing she like modified it to make look cooler. When i gave her the pin i made for her, she went to pin it to her jacket (AH!) and she couldnt do it cause her nails were kinda long so i offered to help and she gave me her jacket and i got to pin something i made to like the coolest woman actor in gaming ever and she was so excited about it. she said yellow was her favorite color and it made me so happy i chose to make sadie's yellow outfit wahhhh and then before we left she gave us all hugs and she said she really liked my perfume :D you heard it here first, Sadie Adler thinks my perfume smells good whhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa she was so so cooolll i want to be like her when i grow up whahha i really wish i could have afforded to get her autograph as well womp hopefully i will have another chance for that in the future :) i kinda hope i can get as many signatures from the cast as i can! one day, i really really want to meet Noshir Dalal one day and get his autograph cries he's going to be in florida later this year but that is a littleeee to far for me womp it would also be in the middle of a school semester for me so that time would probably be too busy for me :(

Now for the final thing-- which is marginally less interesting than meeting actors from my favorite piece of media-- i started a campus job today! i work a desk job at the school's game room! i had a lot of fun today, everyone was very nice and i got free food :) since it's the summer, there isn't a whole lot of people coming in, so i kind of just sit in a room for five hours twiddling my thumbs but i like it that way!
