oh my god it is so cold someone HEL-

ANYWAYS-- hi! as the title suggests, it is COLD. i live in the southern united states, so you must understand that for march, this is very very odd for us whahaha. like it freakin' SNOWED yesterday. we usually only get snow like once a year in january/febuary and then call it a winter but nope! 'suppose mother nature wanted a round two. the day before it got so cold, we got a gnarly thunderstorm in our area and we almost got a tornado! thankfully nothing too serious came from it, but i think some cloud rotation was spotted for a little while, nothing ever touched the ground though.

in other news though, i FINALLY got to watch Sinners for the first time over the weekend (could you tell by my "song of the day"?) and oh my god it was so good why did no one tell me /lh i've had the songs from the movie stuck in my head for the past week haha. i love how the movie really captured the horror of vampires cause i think SOCIETY has forgotten how to make them really scary instead of making them like hot/mysterious i was on the edge of my seat the entire time they were there. not just sayin' this because i'm from the deep south like where the movie is set, but there should be more supernatural horror fiction set in the deep south like Sinners is istg there are very intriguin' themes and ideas to explore down there, of which i think Sinners did and did WELL. i watched it just before the oscars happened and i'm glad i did cause they deserved every oscar won that night i'm tellin' you. Michael B. Jordan i'm so glad you got that best actor award you did SO GOOD. also Miles Caton keep singin' forever I Lied to You is SO GOOD cryin'. i am also so glad it won best cinematography because the whole time i was watchin' i just couldn't help but think of how good it was. additional fun fact one of my family members used to work in Clarksdale a long while ago so everytime it was brought up or shown i like pointed at the screen in excitement. (spoilers) i almost cried at the last scene with Sammy in the bar cause ow ow ow. I hadn't really felt too many feelings(tm) until that scene and all of a sudden i was just hit with a freight train of every emotion ever cries. Sammy you make me so sad i love you and i wish to give you a hug, they all make me so sad

anyways though, i shall leave it at that or i might be talking about Sinners all day whahaha buh-bye!
